Today is the first day of the Chinese New Year and if you didn’t already know, it’s the year of the dog. So I thought I’d celebrate by giving you the chance to win a pretty fantastic prize!

Here’s what’s up for grabs:

A copy of my book A Dog’s Life.

The dog of the year:
A Furtography photo shoot.
For your dog in your home town, anywhere in New Zealand.
A Signature .MOV album.

But basically all you have to do is enter a photo of your dog and tell us why you think they deserve to be the Dog of the Year. Then each month from March to December, I will add the images to an album on the Furtography Facebook page and the voting begins. The dog with the most votes each month will win a copy of my book A Dog’s Life and go in to the final to be crowned Dog of the Year.

Each of the ten monthly winners will go into another public vote on the Furtography Facebook page in January 2019. The winner of that vote will be crowned Dog of the Year on Chinese New Years even next February and win the main prize.
