In what I’m now calling the Lupin Trilogy, finishing off my summery posts while I am currently halfway over the Pacific heading into sub zero temperatures, I give to you my little Ralph.

We took him adventuring to Lake Tekapo a couple of years ago and I’ve never shared the images, like oh so many stuck on my hard drive. It was very windy as you can see from his windswept appearance, but the stormy light was gorgeous!

Ralph will be making an appearance again soon as his birthday is approaching, we’re bad dads and are not there to celebrate with him. I know, I know, but I already feel guilty enough!!!

Continuing with the summery theme and lupins when it’s T-2 days until I’m in sub zero(ish) temperatures, mind you summer seems to have other ideas here so I’m acclimatising early!

Anyway, enough weathery chit chat, here is the unbelievably handsome Benson, who surely at this point is one of New Zealand’s most photographed dogs!

And before you ask, yes I did get in the river. Yes it was freezing and yes I was set upon by a thousand sandflies who devoured the blood in my legs. Totally worth it though 😂

i’m making the most of summer while I still can.

i’m making the most of summer while I still can. I’ll be heading over to Europe in just six days time, meanwhile I’ve been down in Arrowtown with @charlottereevesphotography where we photographed Grimm and Benson amongst the Lupin flowers.

The colour!!! Those pinks and purples blew my mind 🤯and we had the most fantastic Sessions just outside Glenorchy, which was a quick break from planning some awesome content for @unleashed.ed.

“My dog will never sit still and pose for a photoshoot”.

Oh if I had a dollar everytime I heard that!

Guess what, your dog doesn’t need any special posing skills and they can even stay on lead for the entire session if they need to! The reality is less than half of my session are with perfectly trained dogs, they’re every day pets who are loved and do doggy things.
