The Best of 2018 | Pet Photography in New Zealand and Beyond!2018 has been a pretty incredible year here at Furtography!
2018 has been a pretty incredible year here at Furtography.
I don’t want to turn this into a lengthy post about all my achievements, though I will never get tired of saying that I am the New Zealand Portrait Open Photographer of the year, the Canterbury/Westland Photographer of the year, my images from the #DogIsLove series were gifted to their Royal highnesses Prince Harry and Meghan or that I have been chosen to represent New Zealand in the World Photographic Cup! Wow!
2018 has been so much more than that though, more than I dared to dream, photographing dogs in 13 cities all around the world, working with more charities than ever before, I could go on and on! But before I do, I will just leave you with a few of my personal favourite images from the year and say thank you all for following me on this journey.
One thing that is worth an EXTRA special mention is that 2018, the Chinese year of the dog, was the year that Chris and I finally became dog das for the very first time as we welcomed Ralph into our family. He has stolen our hearts completely (and probably aged us at least 10 years, puppies eh!)
I’m not forgetting the boys either, Jazz, Mr Tinkles and millefeuille had their first ever modelling job this year, for these amazing cat beds from Meyou Paris.
Finally, I just had to share all the images from my #DogIsLove project one more time. Make sure you check out the original blog post to find out more about this project and jump over to the Furtography store if you want to purchase #DogIsLove calendars, greetings cards, badges or prints, all proceeds are going to some worthy charities.
2018 is already looking jam packed full of exciting stuff, I can’t wait to get stuck in, first up is a trip to Mexico!
