The Furtography studio opened it’s doors with great success just over a month ago. I launched the studio, inside the fabulous KURI Centre on Orchard Road with Winter Wonderland themed sessions and they were completely sold out. 100% of the session fee clients paid to have their pooches photographed amid ice and snow was donated to K9 Rescue and Rehoming, a grand total of $575 was raised.
As always I was in my element meeting so many wonderful dogs and their owners, it really was fantastic and I thank each and every one who came along for their support.
Below you can see all the dogs I photographed, as well as a few irresistible outtakes that made me chuckle so much as I went through the day’s images that I just had to share them. A special mention has to go to gorgeous Murphy, who was celebrating his 1st Birthday on the day.
Those who attended will also know that some students from the New Zealand Broadcasting School were filming a documentary about Furtography and the studio opening. I don’t relish the thought of being in front of a camera, but they’ve done a fantastic job, so keep a close watch on the blog, I’ll be posting the video as soon as I have permission.
Finally, if you are looking at this and thinking it could be fun to have photos of your dog, please do get in touch. I offer complimentary, no obligation consultations at the studio for anyone who thinks a Furtography session is something they want to do. I promise you won’t regret it!
